LAHORE by Shehbaz Ashraf…For the first time, the Punjab School Education Department (SED) has implemented face detection technology to curb cheating in the 2025 annual matriculation exams.
Punjab Minister for School Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, along with Chairman Task Force for Education Muzammil Mehmood, conducted surprise inspections at sensitive examination centers on Raiwind Road on Monday.
During the visit, officials verified students’ identities using a 3D barcode system, assessed exam arrangements, and collected student feedback.
