Pakistan to Experience World Record High Temperature Soon

ISLAMABAD web desk..The Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned that the heatwave will continue through Wednesday, with temperatures possibly nearing the worldβs all-time April record of 122Β°F, set in Nawabshah, Pakistan, in 2018.
Pakistan is facing extreme heat, with temperatures in central and southern regions reaching up to 118Β°F (48Β°C) over the weekend.
Weather models suggest that central Pakistan could see temperatures rise to the upper 110s or even around 120Β°F in the coming days, putting the country close to breaking its own record.
The ongoing heatwave is part of a larger regional event affecting 21 countries across South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, where many areas are seeing temperatures above 110Β°F.
Experts say this extreme heat is part of a global trend, with April seeing above-average temperatures in 63% of the world. Authorities are urging people in Pakistan to take precautions and stay safe during this dangerous period.
