Visit of Khushdil Khan Malik to Embassy of Pakistan in Portugal

Lisbon(International News Desk) According to global times News Agency Europe,Former Additional Secretary to the Government of Pakistan and former Provincial Minister (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Mr. Khushdil Khan Malik, who is on visit to various European countries now a days, has visited the Embassy of Pakistan in Portugal today, who was received by the Ambassador of Pakistan in Portugal, Dr. Khalid Ijaz on arrival in the Chancery. At this occasion, Kaleem Dil and Shayan Khan were also accompanied.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to various issues of Overseas Pakistanis living in Portugal were discussed in detail and the Ambassador has informed Mr. Malik about the role of the Embassy in resolving emergent problems and facilitation of diaspora by providing quick services through physical and online appointment system. During the meeting, Ambassador informed that the welfare of Pakistani prisoners who are languashing in jails is also given top priority and apart from arrangements for Halal food for them, they are frequently connected with their families in Pakistan through periodical telephone calls to their homes. During the meeting, the issue of transportation of deceased Pakistanis from Portugal to Pakistan was also discussed with special reference to the transportation of dead body of Qasim Arshad from Sialkot, who was recently drowned in sea in Porto few days ago and Mr.Malik assured that he will play his role in revamping the system of transportation of dead bodies of Pakistanis to Pakistan for burial by taking up the matter with the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ishaq Dar on his return to Pakistan.
