The report, compiled by crowdsourced data platform Numbeo, evaluates global crime levels and public safety perceptions, providing insights for tourists and policymakers. It considers factors such as crime rates, law enforcement efficiency, and social stability to determine overall safety scores.
Leading the global rankings, Andorra topped the list with an impressive score of 84.7, followed by the United Arab Emirates (84.5), Qatar (84.2), Taiwan (82.9), and Oman (81.7). These countries are recognized for strong security measures, low crime rates, and effective law enforcement practices, making them attractive destinations for travelers seeking safety and peace of mind.
